My husband is very pleased with this alarm system. The alarm was not only easy to install, but easy to program as well. The AAS 100 Wireless Home Security Alarm System offers all the bells and whistles you need to protect your home or office from burglars.

If by chance, someone manages to break-in to your house with out setting off a door or window sensor, they still won't get pass the motion detectors. The alarm will sound off (which is very loud) while the system will continuously dial up to 6 phone numbers (which you have pre-programmed of people you know) to call the police.
If your phone line is cut the alarm will sound off. If someone tries to tamper with the system the alarm will sound off.
If you are at home, it can be set to turn off the motion detectors and still arm the door/ window sensors so you can move about your house freely.
There are a few other features for personal preference. All in all I think it is a very good system and would recommend it to anyone. AAS also offers a number of different size packages to meet your needs. The AAS 100 is the most affordable and quite adequate for most households.

The Good
Well written instructions allowing for easy set-up.
Offers much of the same features as those professionally installed, the difference being the AAS system has no monthly fees and ends up costing much less.
Well-designed for tailoring how many windows/doors you wish to monitor and how many motion-detectors to place.
The Bad
The power cord that comes with the unit is VERY short, which limits your placement of the base, without the use of an extension cord.
Once the motion/sensor detectors are triggered, the keypad starts beeping, allowing the intruder to locate the keypad and destroy it. (You can mitigate this by programming the entry delay to zero and use the keyfob to deactivate the alarm. You can also buy a portable wireless keypad to disarm the system from the outside.)

"Having never owned or set up a home alarm system, I reviewed a number of different products and was worried that installing it would be difficult. The AAS-100 system turned out to be fairly easy. I read the whole instruction book twice and then started setting up the system. Took me about 3 minutes to get the hang of programming the first sensor, and then it was a breeze! Just follow the instructions to the letter and it works great! The entire set up took less than 3 hours. The package was exactly as described and shipment much faster than advertized. I am pleased with my choice and would recommend it to a friend.
